MMORPG and Learning

At first I thought of the possibility of integrating massively multiplayer online role-playing game aka MMORPG and learning. It makes sense because games are an integral part in one's life most specially true to young people. There is no better way to learn than to learn in a virtual world wherein virtual communities thrive and virtual individuals make their mark. As I wander aimlessly in surfing the net I stumbled upon an article from Sir Joel Yuviengco's blog. Lo and behold, Sloodle!

Sloodle is a mash-up of a popular virtual reality game, Second life and virtual learning environment, Moodle. The idea of MMORPG and learning of mine is now a reality and it will be an exciting prospect for both the learners and the educators alike.
